I recently purchased a Throttlemeister kit for my 2007 Honda ST1300. I was pleased with the quality of the machining
of all of the parts in the kit. The installation instructions were very clear, and the kit included all the necessary tools to
pull the bar weights out of the throttle side handle bar. Adjustment worked perfectly.
 
I have now  taken a couple of long rides with the Throttlemeister installed on the bike. While knocking down miles on the
super slab, the Throttlemeister is a nice addition to allow periodic resting of the right hand and wrist during a long
trip.
 
This is the second Throttlemeister I have owned on a motorcycle. I had a Throttlemeister for a number of years on my
1991 BMW K100RS motorcycle.

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner, but I wanted to ride with the Throttlemeister installed for awhile before commenting. I ordered May 26th and it was delivered three days later. Installed it on a new V-Star 950 in about 25 minutes without a problem. I have used it on the highway several times over the past month and a half, and it works exactly as advertised. It sure saves the strain on my arthritic right thumb. From a safety standpoint, it allows you to roll off the power easily in a quick or panic stop situation even from a full on position, but will maintain a constant throttle position adequately without having to tighten it down all the way. Makes it very easy to fine tune or adjust the throttle position when cruising. As far as the color, I bought the black units, and after they were installed, I prefer them to the original chrome tips that came with the motorcyle. Of course, that is a personal preference, but over all the appearance and added length of the Throttlemeister would keep it on my bike even if it did not work at all.

When I first purchased my Honda 919 I had an inexpensive throttle lock installed on my bike basically because I didn’t know any better. It would not hold speed for any length of time and needed constant adjustment. No matter how much I adjusted the tension it would slip and the throttle always had residual tension even after the device was released. That caused a sticking throttle which is a safety hazard not to mention very annoying. I researched the forums for a better alternative and repeatedly Throttlemeister was highly recommended as the throttle lock of choice. I purchased a Throttlemeister and had it installed with high hopes that this product would perform as advertised, and to say I was not disappointed would be an understatement. Setting the lock initially took a couple try’s to get the maneuver down but it soon came very naturally. The throttle holds speed perfectly across flat terrain with no more than a 1 MPH variation over a couple hours ride. Once the device is released there is no residual tension whatsoever and throttle operation is smooth and fluid. The quality machining and ergonomic design of this device was immediately evident enhancing the overall appearance of my bike. I also noticed the handlebar vibration was noticeably reduced, but I’m not sure if that was by design or just a fortunate by-product.  The Throttlemeister was priced a little higher than most of the throttle locks on the market and it only took one ride to see why. Off all the modifications I put on my bike this was the single best investment I ever made. This will change your riding experience; if you do nothing else to your bike get a Throttlemeister.

I had read reviews about difficulty in using with gloves, but find this to be completely wrong. I have no problem using it with or without gloves. The design is very well thought out and works perfectly. The esthetics of the weights / throttle control are exceptional. I can't believe BMW doesn’t use them on all their bikes. The matte black finish with the machined flutes is very stunning. It sets off my black bike perfectly.

I’ve received the package on Sat 13May (so quick!)  So I put it on Sunday, it took me about 10 min to complete.  Of course after that I went for the test ride. Great!  Now I can't wait for a long ride for my summer holidays.

Throttlemeister installed on my 2006 Honda CBR600F4i.  Black, standard size.

Installation and setup was a breeze, took about 10 minutes start to finish. Easy to set varying degrees of throttle stiffness and they look great!  Very nice quality!

Thanks so much for designing this gem of a product. Every gearhead knows that parts milled from billeted metal are the gold standard of engineering. Like all the other testimonials I received my unit within moments of my order (ok, two days ...), walked it out to my to my Ducati ST3 with two allen-head wrenches, an Exacto knife, and a piece of sandpaper.  In thirty minutes I had it installed and was off for a test drive ... Flawless ...The bonus is that the red stripe matches my Ducati red so well that everyone thinks it's factory equipment.  Feel free to use enclosed pics on your website.

I just bought a Throttlemeister and put it on my Honda PC 800.  I ordered it without ever actually handling one and it really works and looks great!  It was so easy to install that it took me longer to find the Loc-Tite than it did to put it on.  It is such a pleasure to find an aftermarket product that fit perfectly, was made beautifully, and actually worked better than expected.

I bought the Throttlemeister for my 2001 ST1100 the other day and got it installed successfully. A very cool invention! I'm impressed with the way that the Throttlemeister components look as a direct replacement for the stock bar ends. Installing the "heavy" version helped take a little buzz I was feeling out of the bars completely. Very clean looking. There's no extra hardware like you'd find with a typical throttle lock. Very easy to operate and works just like it's supposed to.

Wow, have you produced a very fine system here.  I ordered it yesterday, got it today, and in ten minutes I had installed and test rode my bike.  The instructions were very easy, almost intuitively I didn't need them, but very pleased with the quality of written instruction.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I returned from a 1500 mile trip to the Smokies last night. The only bad part of the trip was the ride up I-59 from Hattiesburg, MS to Chattanooga, TN. I don't think I could have made it without the Throttlemeister. Installation and operation were just like the instructions said. It took me about one day of riding to
master the use of the TM. I was riding with a friend who has a BMW K1200 LT with cruise and had no problem following him. Thanks for a great product.

I PUT THE THROTTLEMEISTER ON MY 2001 HONDA F4i AND HAVE HAD THE MOST ENJOYABLE RIDING SINCE I BOUGHT THE BIKE NEW.  I AM NOT A MECHANICAL PERSON AND I INSTALLED THE THROTTLEMEISTER  IN ABOUT 30-40 MINUTES WITH NO PROBLEM.  IT WORKS GREAT AT HOLDING THE THROTTLE AND IS EASILY OVERRIDDEN TO SPEED UP OR SLOW DOWN.  MY HURTING WRIST USED TO KEEP ME FROM TAKING THE LONGER RIDES BUT NOW IT IS NO PROBLEM.  THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT.

I recently installed the Throttlemeister on my Triumph Sprint ST just before embarking on a trip that covered about 750 miles, 300+ of which were one-way.  Most of the road to and from my destination was Interstate, so having cruise-control saved me from getting hand cramps.  The Throttlemeister worked flawlessly.  It is very easy to use and extremely safe, given that all you have to do is twist the throttle if you need to decelerate suddenly.  I could not have been more pleased.  I am telling all of my cycling buddies about it.  I even showed it to my dealer.  Now he may purchase one.  Thanks for "building a better mousetrap."

I bought the zx12 non-polished models and they are nothing but quality, quality, quality. Very nice and work very well. Highly recommend these on a zx12r; they seem to have reduced vibrations too. It was money well spent. On long trips I can take my hand off the throttle on wide open areas of highway. Without them, a stop is required.

I'm the kind of guy who keeps mechanics in business and have probably sent a few of their kids to college.  But I installed my Throttlemeister on my Kawasaki Concours in about 15 minutes with no problems at all.  They look great, but more importantly, work exactly as advertised.  I was out for a two hour ride this weekend with no numbness in my fingers for the first time in my motorcycling career!

I went to my local BMW dealership to have a Throttlemeister installed on my R1200 cruiser. The Throttlemeister operates smoothly and the one made for this model looks good on the bike. For a person like me who enjoys riding motorcycles, but had to give it up many years ago because of an occasional battle with carpal tunnel, the Throttlemeister is the greatest invention for motorcycles. It has allowed me to enjoy motorcycling once again. This is money well spent. I want to thank the Throttlemeister company for this wonderful riding aid.
